The Innovation Route to Development

CALL FOR PAPERS/ARTICLES

 

CUTS Washington DC Center (CUTS Global) invites papers and articles to be published in a Policy Volume on Innovation. Interested scholars and practitioners are invited to submit a 250 words abstract along with a brief CV (not more than one page) of the author, by 15th June 2019.


 

The following issues have been identified to be covered.

  1. Transfer, absorption and incubation of innovation in the digital economy

  2. Channelising defence innovation and collaboration towards civilian sectors

  3. Structuring a balanced regulatory framework for innovation across sectors to ensure higher productivity along with adequate absorption of the labour force

  4. Enable India to integrate into advanced defence and civil aircrafts manufacturing eco system

  5. Building smart and sustainable infrastructure

  6. Leveraging innovation to further Indo-US Strategic Energy Partnership

Authors are requested to mention the specific ‘topic’ of their paper/article while submitting the abstract. Authors of selected abstracts would be invited to submit full papers (word limit 2000, excluding tables, figures, footnotes, annexures) and articles (word limit 1000-1200) for publication in the Policy Volume.

RELEASE & DISSEMINATION OF THE POLICY VOLUME

 

CUTS intends to release the Volume at Indo-US Innovation Round Table to be held in 2019, in the fall in Washington DC and in the winters in New Delhi. The event is being organised in partnership with the U.S.-India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF). The Volume will also be widely disseminated electronically and in print.

Review of submitted Papers/Articles 1st August -15th August 2019
Finalisation of Papers/Articles, post review 16th August-15th September 2019
Printing of the Policy Volume   30th September 2019
